Holy cow is this ever fun, and simple, and challenging. The best I did was 7th out of 95.
Jenn’s been bugging me to upload some pictures so here we go:
Here’s the exterior front of our house. We took a bunch of other pictures, but none of them look all that good. They were taken while unpacking, so crap is all over the place (yes, we put pooh in storage and when we unpacked it, we decided to spread it all around - nice initiation for our new house. Unfortunately, it’s all through the carpet so we don’t really have a new house smell anymore). Anyone up for a visit?

One of the rooms is the “Man Room”. Here’s my seguay (an easy word to say - not so easy to spell, too lazy to dictionary.com it)… today I picked up my new (used) monitor from work. 21 inches and brighter and crisper than I’ve seen. It’s amazing. I’m running out of room, now that my computer is working again, and I’ve got Jenn’s old computer (gotta come up with a better name for it) as a backup, and I may have a couple of servers coming home in the next couple of days, too. One of the servers is coming with a monstrous monitor of it’s own, and the other one can go with my faded out 17 incher. Then I just need something for the WBT I want to try get running with terminal services. The major mind cruncher is how I can build a desk to accommodate all this and still look freakin’ cool.

And here’s a nice picture Jenn took of a pumpkin patch. I like the colors:

Here’s our house. (Dumb yahoo photo won’t allow me to display the actual photo… maybe I’ll stick with Flickr next time)
I chartered a flight to take this picture… it’s only a picture worth a couple hundred dollars. (Just kidding - a friend just sent it to me, seems he does that sorta thing)
Here are some pictures of my favourite sites in Kingston. The one at the bottom with the red roof is the one by our house.
This is some of the fun you can have with projectors - hey Brock, can you imagine projecting any of your games onto a surface like this? Who needs a monitor or even a living room?
Note: “Zuruck” will scroll you back, and “Weiter” ahead through the slideshow.
Update: Speaking of which,… Brock
Remember the happy thoughts:

This is what religious leaders should be all about.

These photoblogs would’ve made it to my Bloglines, but bummer that it is, they don’t publish RSS feeds. So instead I give them referral credit only:
They may think that a referral is better than a feed-dependent fan, but I disagree. That’s all.

I passed this car on the way home from work today. I must have it. It looked really nasty from the back, though - as if it was a regular car with an additional panel glued on, but when I passed it I was in heaven.
We have babies! Now we can compete with all the other baby photo blogs! ![]()
We’re still looking for names for each of them, so any suggestions are appreciated.
This is the smaller of the two. (S)he’s got a wonky fin, but has better color.

(S)he’s larger, dominates the others, seems to have a little more energy, and eats more.

The plant (not in the photos) cost as much as both of the fish, so maybe we should name it too. It’s … uhh, great, and… leafy. Not a fern. Looks kinda like a weed.
Anyone have any advise re. goldfish? I’ve got two bubble makers, and the fish seem more energetic when they’re on. Maybe it’s stressing them out, or maybe they find it fun. They don’t avoid the bubbles. I also had a heater but I almost boiled them to death, so I got rid of that. Apparently, goldfish like it a little cooler, so I think I’ll leave it without. I’m hoping to not have to run a filter, but we shall see if the manual cleaning is too cumbersome. If I do okay with this little 2 gallon tank, I think Jenn will let me buy a nice big one later on.
P.S. Updated our Flickr Album.

Child’s Play: Blasting bullets through crayons - who ever said that crayons weren’t fun? And firing guns can be research. Fun research - nothing ill-advised about that.
This is one of the best photoshop contests I’ve ever seen.
… and it was done in a day.
Get your own Gravatar - it will show on pretty much every blog out there, from WordPress and MovableType to Blogger (pending… I’m not sure about haloscan). See any of the comments on sillyspot for examples.
We seem to have lost our digital camera. Anyone know where we put it?
I went back through our archived photo CD… boy, that’s fun(ny) to reminesce. I uploaded some more pictures to our photo gallery.
I kinda feel like the photo season is over - that April thru October are when the really pretty pictures come along, but alot of my pictures are from the winter. I guess prettiness lasts through all seasons, but enjoyment of seasons may be greater between April and October.
Oh - we moved my finished desk top to the office. It was only out for a week - quite an impressive home improvement project on my part, I must say. It’s wonderful - rounded corners, routered edges, finished surface… a work of art. Now, if we can only keep it neat and organized. Maybe my two new shelves will help.
