This picture reminds me of Doug. Umm… no, he has never been in a position like this photo but it’s too funny! I just learned what atgatt was this past weekend so when Bryan sent on this photo it made me laugh more. Better safe than sorry!
When I got home from work today there was a message that some friends from Doug’s old job in Napanee were driving through and wondered if we could meet for dinner! Yeah! So we had a great time with the Beaupre family and were glad they gave us a ring!!!
I grew up with the saying “You’ll miss me when I’m dead and gone”.. the other night I came up with my own that I told Doug… “You’ll miss me when you sedate me”. Not that I was being silly or anything… I am always a proper lady!

Maple surple!!
We just got back from the maple syrup festival! Yummm! It’s pretty much a km of food!!! Yumm… the smells were great! I only had the fritters with syrup and Doug had a fritter and a gyro. There were lots of choices though - oh I did bring home some fudge.
On the way home we picked up some motorcycle stuff for Doug’s first oil change. He just finished a motorcycle maintenance course so is all geared up to go!! We also stopped at the local deli down the road (a favourite that we haven’t been to in a while!) and picked up some cheese, bacon, pizza buns, sausage rolls… and… apple cider! Spring is in the air - it’s great!!! I just need some tomatoes to go with my bacon!
