Our baby arrived safe and sound and is off the truck waiting for us! We didn’t get enough notice to pick it up today and we can’t go tomorrow due to prior commitments… so… Friday or Saturday we will have our new baby! Woohoo! We haven’t picked a name yet. When we hang out with Bryan and Amanda’s black smart car, we think we will be Salt n’ Pepper! Anyway… we’re working on it! Pictures to come soon!

Doug has been super productive this weekend! He installed the cupboards above the laundry (they look great - and at a height I can still reach!), he installed the rods on the other side of our closet - now we each have a side! We also FINALLY bought a freezer - it’s been on our list since we moved here but never quite got to it! And it was on sale, which it wasn’t supposed to be (”Sorry, it never goes on sale”)! It doesn’t arrive until later this week but then we’re going meat shopping!

As much as I love Starbuck’s, I don’t think I could work there… I mean they are constantly changing the milk bags! Who likes that job???
Oh, we went to Second Cup this week for a change… and they have a very delicious Vanilla Hot Chocolate!! Yummmm

Doug’s new social committee had a bowling night last night. I have very little ten pin experience (we always did five pin) so that is my excuse. I was doing poorly in the first game until the last frame where I got two spares or something so ended up with a 40 point jump to 75!! I think I only got 45 in the second game. Doug had the highest score in the second game with 143!! I um…. was the lowest in that game… there were eight people playing. My brother will be so ashamed!

I’m still a little groggy as we didn’t get to bed until 5:30 a.m. and refused to sleep the WHOLE day… but we just got back from a great week in Cuba! It was a nice relaxing holiday - we each read about 5 books!! Hopefully we get our pics uploaded soon. Nothing too exciting to show but Doug loved snorkeling and we took pics with an underwater camera.
